About Ilahia College of Arts and Science
Ilahia College of Arts and Science, Pezhakkappilly (Dist. Ernakulam) was established in 1995 under the auspices of ILAHIA Trust, Muvattupuzha which was established in 1992.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. It is recognized & approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The aim of the college is to excel at imparting curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular education and training to undergraduate and postgraduate students and to have continual improvement so as to achieve and sustain societal acceptance and distinguishable goals.
It is a co-educational self-financed Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Ernakulam played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college provides Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Science Electronics (BSc) degrees.
The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses and offers two years of postgraduate course in Arts, Commerce, Science and Management streams with various specializations under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
Candidates for admission to the BSc Degree will have passed the higher secondary/+2/XII Std. examination conducted by boards or departments recognized by the University, obtaining not less than 50% marks in Mathematics and not less than 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
