IBS, Dehradun is a constituent of the ICFAI University, Dehradun (IUD).IUD was established through an act of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand and was recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. IBS Dehradun offers 2 year MBA program and has achieved recognition for its academic delivery and industry-institute interface.A proposal has been submitted to the Government of Karnataka for the establishment of University in the State. Land acquisition has been completed for development of campus. Construction may begin in the second-half of 2009, subject to obtaining the required approvals. The IBS family believes that management education should have a good blend of academic rigor and practical utility. The management graduates should be well-rounded with right knowledge, right skills and right attitudes. IBS offers two-year, full-time Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM) to prepare the students and equip them for successful corporate careers. As IBS campuses do not award degree or diploma, they have not sought AICTE approval. Students are encouraged to enroll for a fleximode / distance learning MBA from any University separately.
