Indus Business Academy, Bengaluru, was established in 2001 was formerly known as Indian Business Academy.
The institute was managed by Arihant Education & Research Foundation Trust which was established on 22nd September 2004 also managed by HRD Ministry, Government of India.
The institute is recognized and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & International Accreditation by IACBE.
The IBA campus is situated near the Art of Living ashram in Bengaluru.
The institute has also accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The institute aims to prepare globally competitive management professionals with strong moral, personal and social values and whose training and management skills are grounded in appropriate and advanced concepts and principles.
It is co-educational private institute, providing a regular course which is located in an urban part of Bengaluru played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The department conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government.
The institute has been ranked '8th' by Competition Success Review (CSR) - GHRDC and A++' Category B-School by Business India All India Survey by the leading media house.
The Institute offers two years programs in Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM-General) in the field of Management Information Systems (MIS), Marketing & Innovation Management, Sales & HR Management. It also offers Ph.D. programs.
The Institute also collaborated with International Institutes to offers International courses.
The students were selected through CAT, MAT and COMED-K Entrance Examination conducted every year. Admission also can be done through XAT and GMAT.
The institute has an online application process where prospective applicants are expected to fill in their interests and academic achievements.
Average of 50% in all examinations leading to graduation (45% for SC/ST candidates) and 75 percentile and above in any of the Entrance Tests-(75 percent and above).
