Institute of Advanced Studies in English (IASE), Pune is an advanced research institute in languages was established in 2003 and managed & runs by the Forum for Culture Studies (FCS).
Forum for Culture Studies (FCS) is an organization of university teachers and senior academics, carrying out research and extension activities of interdisciplinary nature, particularly, in language and communication.
It is one of the premier institute established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The Institute is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Act, 1956.
IASE aims at developing an international character full of confidence, quality, and relevance.
This institute is a product which has belief in the language, culture and progress are inseparable and that language is the key to solve all human problems. The IASE provides an opportunity for exploring into this interdisciplinary nature of language.
It is co-educational approved by state government institute which is awarding its own Masters and Doctoral degrees, providing a regular course which is located in an urban part of Pune played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college offers the Ph.D. program, M. Phil programme, M.A. programme in English for the students. It also offers Add-On Certificate courses.
The college made a modest beginning with 53 students, gradually it emerged into a reputed center of post-graduate teaching and research attracting students from more than twenty countries and from all the Indian States. It soon achieved the maximum intake capacity of 230 students enrolled for M.A., M. Phil. and Ph. D. in English.
