Holy Child B.Ed College (HCBEDC), Malda was established in 1990.

The college provides Bachelor of Education programme.

The college is affiliated to the University of Gour Banga, West Bengal and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college delivers qualified secondary and higher secondary level teachers, to fulfill the need of teachers. Qualified and dedicated lecturers are hired by the college, which helps the students gain the required skills in the field of teaching.

The aim of the college is to impart proper training to the educated youth in the field of education and also to enable the prospective teacher to understand the nature, purpose and spirit of Secondary/Higher Secondary Education.

The College is involved to give the trainees to meet the future challenges in the field of Education and develop communication skills and use modern information technology for School Purpose.
