Himachal Institute of pharmaceutical Education & Research (HIPER), Hamirpur was established in 2008.

The Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla-5.

The college is spread in an area of 50 kannals of and on the bank of river Beas at Naduan, which is situated at the center of the state.

The aim of the college is to save the society at large by imparting quality education to the students in order to make them self-dependent, competitive and quality pharmacy professionals to facilitate their academic skills into practical industrial vocation.
