Harmukh College of Education, Kashmir was established in 2003-04.
The college is affiliated to University of Kashmir (A-grade-NAAC accredited).
The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
Harmukh college of education has adopted commiserative approach, in terms of its vast social service activities.
Scholarships are paid to orphans and extremely poor students. College is providing financial assistance to the victims of natural calamities when ever such situation arises.
