Gyan Vihar School of Engineering & Technology was established in 2000. Today after a decade it has been recognized as a world-class institution. It is currently running six specialized branches of engineering & same branches in diploma.

Gyan Vihar school of Engineering & Technology is established in year 2000. A constituent engineering college of SGVU is having more than 150 faculties and more than 3000 UG and PG students. School is running seven departments i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Computer Application.

Three departments of school are accredited by NBA where rest are under process of accreditation from International organizations. School of Engineering and Technology is running UG and nine PG programs apart from research activities leading to Ph.D degree.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective of any engineering college has been to inculcate the capacity in their students so that they are able to meet the challenges which involve the capacity to face tough examinations, garnering hands-on experience on machines and equipments, and the capability to work for long hours but, in the modern world, the field of Engineering has hit newer heights and dimensions and in this changing time of expectations and demands from corporate and service industry, different companies from different time zones and cultures are exposing and exploring themselves to our country of diverse culture. Providing of trained Engineers now goes beyond meeting the technical requirements alone. Each candidate has to fall in place with unique balancing act of technical and ethical pre-requisites. Assuring stability and long tenure of manpower requires some of the stringent training and intelligent transfer of skill set.

The only solution of the above problems is to understand this unique and special blend of requirements each of the corporate clients would have, and then devise customized teaching patterns that not only fit companies’ requirements from all the dimensions, but will also suit and ensure unparalleled growth environment for the students.
