Gyan Bharti College of Education, Indri (Karnal) was established in 2007 under the management of Gyan Bharti Shiksha Samiti. It is a registered society vide Societies Regt. Act 1860. The society was founded in the year 2000-01.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur to offer Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) & Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) courses.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (in 1st Cycle) on 5th July 2012.

The aim of the society is to set up schools, degree colleges and professional colleges and centre for good and quality education for the general welfare of the public at large.

The society also aims at providing the most effective education to every student who enters its door in search of learning. It also aims at imparting the best of Indian ideals, a composite culture that gives its students a progressing disciplined and balanced outlook towards life, contributing to their own success and to the society around them.

The institute offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed) under State Council Of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Gyan Bharti College of Education, Indri (Karnal) in its various departments.
