GVR & S College of Education, Guntur was established in 2000.

It is affilated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and it is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for its undergraduate level course.

The college is managed by Sri G.V.R & S Educational Society. GVR & S College of Education is recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh. It is a self-financed and co educational college.

At present, the college is offering one year Bachelor of Education course.

A graduate candidate in any stream from a recognized university is eligible for the admission. Admission is done through Andhra Ed CET and counseling.

The Institute is well equipped with all modern facility. The institute has well maintained library with wide range of books collection and journals.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at GVR & S College of Education, Guntur in its various departments.
