Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Nursing Education & Research, Sangrur was established in 1996.

under the aegis of Bhagwan Dass Arora Charitable Trust. The college is affiliated to the Punjab Nurses Registration Council and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

The institute is recognised by Punjab State Govt. and PNRC, Chandigarh, which awards diplomas after successful completion of studies and practical experience.

The trust has decided to set up a nursing institute in the name of Guru Nanak Dev Institution of Nursing Education & Research, Sunam, with the aim to bring primary health services within reach of all individuals.
