Gulzar Memorial College of Education, Baramulla was established in 2004.

with the soul objective of producing well-trained and dynamic human resource in the field of education who are dedicated enough to meet the new challenges in education like the Globalization of education.

The college is affiliated to the University of Kashmir and recognized by J&K Government.

The College has been granted intake capacity of 191 students by the University of Kashmir.

The college building is a newly constructed two-storied structure with a decent architecture and state-of-the-art educational infrastructure and other facilities.

They have a well-qualified and well-trained staff whose coordination and consistent efforts and hard work ensured more than 90% result of their first batch of students.
