GAIMS is affiliated to KSKV Kachchh University and is recognized by the state government. GAIMS has approval of Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.

In view of the constantly changing nature of medical knowledge, the facilities of an ultra modern ‘e’ library with round the clock internet services have been provided in the classrooms and all departments as well as hostels to enable the faculty & students to have access to the world library on medical sciences.
