Green Land College of Education, Srinagar was established in 2005.

The college is affiliated to University of Kashmir to impact instruction in the B.Ed program.

The Collage has its academic block, Administrative Block, & Separate hostel for Boys & girls the collage campus spread on 8.5 kanal of land in the pollution free area.

The college is managed by Green Land Educational Society [GLES] which has been established in 1970.

The College has adequate infrastructure for sports [outdoor & indoor]. The founder of Greenland is M.A.Jan who is the pioneer of Private Education in the valley.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Green Land College of Education in its various departments.
