Grace Teacher Training Institute, Kanyakumari was estalblished in 2005.

Its affiliated to Bharathiar University.

It is approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Bangalore and Directorate of Teacher Education and Research Training, Chennai.

The College offers Diploma in Teacher Education course for those who have passed graduation or HSC with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

The college has well qualified faculty according to NCTE specifications in sufficient numbers working as a team with the Principal and Management. Students are sent to various standard schools as a part of their curriculum to gain teaching practice.
