Govt.Rourkela Evening College, Rourkela was established in 1989.

The college which began in 1966 in the name Rourkela Night College and subsequently renamed as Rourkela Evening College was taken over by the Govt. of Orissa in the year 1989 to function as Govt.

Evening College, Rourkela. Subsequently the college was renamed as Rourkela College, Rourkela.
