Govt. Raza Post Graduate College, Rampur was established in 1949.

Government Raza P.G. College, Rampur is recognized under section 2(f) and 12(B) of U. G. C. and is affiliated to M. J. P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.

The College has the pride to become the first Govt. College in U. P. to be accredited (B+ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. B. Ed. Department was given B grade. IGNOU regular study centre became operational in the college in July 2007 and offered various courses.

The regular study centre of IGNOU offering various professional courses became operational in July 2007. Govt. Raza P. G. College, Rampur is committed to provide quality education of global dimensions leading to man-making and nation building.
