Govt. P.G. College, Bina (Dist. Sagar) was established on 1st August 1964 and managed by Jan Bhagidari Samiti (JBS).

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f)  & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade.

The aim of the college was consistently striving not only to provide mere formal education or just a graduate but also struggling to inculcate ethical values, values of life, social awareness for the promotion of national integration and self-dependent from an employment point of view.

It is a co-educational government Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Sagar played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management streams with various specializations and two years of a postgraduate course in Arts, Science, and Commerce with various specializations under Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar. It also offers Add-On courses.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

Admissions here also done through Govt. of M.P. online portal by the Department of Higher Education M.P. and hence gives a transparent and fair method of admission.
