Government Unani Medical College, Bangalore was established in 1975. Late Sri M.Siddaveerappa, the Minister for Health & Municiple Administration under the chief ministership of Late Sri D.Devaraj Urs, inaugurated the college. The college was initially affiliated to Bangalore University. At present the college is affiliated to the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,Bangalore. The college is at best in curriculum,infrastructure,materials and resources with a friendly cometitive environment.
