Government Science College, Pandhurana was established in 1986.

Government Science College pandhurna is situated on delhi chennai railway line and nagpur bhopal national highway no.69. college was established on 26th of october 1986. college is affiliated by dr.harisingh gour sagar unniversity where only science streams classes conducting right now.

the college is registered with ugc under 2(f) and 12(b). ugc & higher education department has been allotted grants for various college development activities. college has its own building on pandhurna amravati road with 2o rooms with all the facilities covers class rooms, library reading room, practical lab, computer lab, and games & nss room.

janbhagidari samiti has been registered on 18th may 2001, from that day samiti is working very hard for college&rsquos multidimensional development. at present prof. d.s.bisen is working as a principal incharge for government science college pandhurna (since 03-11-2004). mr. d.s.bisen&rsquos outstanding efforts are responsible for many of the key changes towards college development such as- computer application course started in b.sc. maths and bio group.

the self financing bba and bca courses started in the year 2008-2009. brought affiliation for ma economics, sociology, hindi, english, geography and m.com in the year 2012-2013. brought affiliation for m.sc. maths, chemistry, botany and zoology in the year 2012-2013. government science college pandhurna accredited &ldquoc++&rdquo by naac. the next naac reaccreditation visit will be organize in 2015-2016.
