About Government Sanskrit College
Government Sanskrit College, Thiruvananthapuram was established in 1889.
Its affiliated to University of Kerala.
The college is managed by His Highness Sree MoolamThirunal Rama Varma.
The college has grown to have five major departments viz. Jyothisha, Nyaya, Sahitya, Vendanta and Vyakarana with post graduate courses and subsidiary departments viz. English, Hindi, Malayalam and Physical Education.
The college is also a research centre of the University of Kerala.
