Government Polytechnic for Women,Guntur is situated at the heart of city Guntur, Where education has its gross roots. As one of the oldest polytechnic in the state, it opened gates to technical education for girls long back. The college is established in 1968 with diploma in commercial and computer practice, Diploma in Garment Technology, Diploma in Pharmacy Diploma in Electronics and communications as branches. The premises are beautifully located in 9.1 acres of land Green vegetation surrounding the college is eye feast to visitors. Students studied here will go out with self confidence. Over 50 years of its prestigious history, the college gave livelihood to thousands of students. The alumina from this college are professors,Scientists,journalists,software engineers and many are servicing government as well as private sectors.
