About Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH)
Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh was established in 1991 with the intake of 50 students.
The college is the only hospital in the public sector committed to total computerization, both for hospital management as well as in the administrative domain.
The institution being developed is environment friendly as well as patient friendly. It has already started attracting a large number of patients not only from the Union Territory of Chandigarh, but from the neighboring states as well.
The college has a highly qualified and dedicated faculty, both in basic and clinical departments.
