Government Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Dehradun was established in 1982 under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Uttrakhand.

The institute conducts bachelor course in Hotel Management which is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under Ministry of HRD, Goverment of India.
