Government Aided AIT Institute of Pharmacy, Malegaon was established in 1980-81.

The institute is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. It is recognized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai and is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) Mumbai.

The institute has vision to become an exemplary pharmacy institute with respect to quality of pharmacy education, discipline and evenhandedness to become a dynamic pharmacy institute, which would continuously improve and upgrade its standards to meet with the ever-changing needs of time.

The college has an excellent environment conducive for teaching learning process.

The mission of the institute is providing the community with qualified, competent, knowledgeable and skilled pharmacists, contributing to the development of pharmacy profession, helping the underprivileged students in attaining self sufficiency, acting as a pivotal point for pharmacists in continuation of education, assuring continuous up gradation of quality of education at the institute.
