Gopeshwar College, Hathua was established in 1970.

Its affiliated to Jaiprakash University.

In keeping with the objectives of a dynamic institution, the college offers both boys and girls, diverse schools of thought through courses in humanities, social sciences and commerce.

New courses imparting vocational skills are offered by the College as and when they are made available by the U.G.C.

The college is a constituent College of J.P University Chapra and is sponsored by Govt. of Bihar.
