About Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa Girl's College
Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa Girl's College, Bathinda was established in 1988 but came into existence in 1992 and managed by Khalsa Dewan Shri Guru Singh Sabha.
The college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) in 1992 under Act, 1956.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The aim of the college was to develop a strong and disciplined mind, increase woman empowerment and try to re-discover the moral and spiritual values that have lost in the chaos and turmoil of the modern world.
It was a woman self-financed Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Bathinda played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under Punjabi University, Patiala.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, Management, and Commerce streams and offers two years of post-graduation in Science streams with various specializations under Punjabi University, Patiala.
