GMR Varalakshmi Community College (GMRVCC), Rajam was established in 1955.

 Its affiliated to  Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

The college is managed by GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. The college is recognized by IGNOU for various degree courses.
