GMR College of Education was established in 1997.

It is located in West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated to Andhra University and is recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The college has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for the undergraduate level course. GMR College of Education is having amiable facilities for its students.

The college conducts one year Bachelor of Education course, which is open for all undergraduate candidates.

A candidate, who has completed his graduation in any stream, from a recognized University is eligible for this course. Admission is done through Andhra Ed CET and counseling.
