GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade (GIFT) was established in 1997. 

GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade was formerly known as GITAM School of International Business.

GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade came into existence after the academic collaboration with Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi.

GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade curriculum is well recognised by the industry, which also generously support the institute by constantly interacting with it and helping it to modify the curriculum periodically through timely inputs.

GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), MHRD, New Delhi.
