Girls' College, Kokrajhar was established in 1990.

Its affiliated with Gauhati University.

The aim and objective for which it was established is to impart knowledge to women and insist upon quality of education.

The motto is to explore the hidden genius in students and make them fit accordingly for the benefit of the society and individually.

The mission of the institute is to spread higher education amongst the women synchronizing modern education with traditional environment, to refine and improve the respective arts, culture, games & sports through various co-curricular activities and to inculcate academic activities to its learners.
