Ginni Devi Modi Girls (PG) College, Modinagar affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut was established in 1983.

Ginni Devi Modi Girls (PG) College was estabished by the great Philanthropist Dr. K.N Modi and Smt. Ginni Devi Modi with the avowed mission of providing opportunities of  higher education to women. The motto of the college is "Self Reliance through Education" and throught it, the ultimate aims is to "Empower the young female generation" in the region.

The college got 2(f) and 12(b) recognition in 1988, and subsequently became Grant in aid college of U.P. Government.

College has completed 31 years of its existence. Its leadership in teaching, research, extra curricular activities and social services makes it an institute of excellence in higher education, our students, faculty and staff come together in a true community of scholars to advance knowledge, address societal challenges and pursue intellectual and personal fulfilment.

The college located on National Highway No. 58 has around 3000 students. The women's Hostel with mess facilities is also located within the college campus.

The college has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade (CGPA-3.19) in March 2008 and UGC has awarded the status of "College with potential for Excellence" in XI Plan.

The college is recognized as research center by the university in five subjects, namely economics, political science, history, home science and hindi.

The college has a policy of developing the computer and other communication skills amongst all the new students by arranging ICT orientation classes in the college.

VISION

The vision of the College is "Self Reliance through Education". Since its inception in 1983 college has been nurtured to be the vanguard of higher education to make the future generation of women self reliant and empowered through sound education adhering to the principles of truth and traditional values revitalized by scientific outlook and strengthened by moral and social responsibilities.

MISSION

The college has mission to move forward towards the achievement of the vision of the founders of the college to cater the higher education needs of the girls belonging to the most disadvantaged and deprived sections of the society both in urban and rural areas in and around the town Modinagar, to impart the value based education to nurture a culture of solidarity and to develop the overall personality of the students by providing them holistic higher education that will promote their social, economic and cultural advancement and also through their active participating in extra-curricular activities and socially relevant extension activities to inculcate the sense community belongingness and amongst the students.
