Gayathri College of Education, Mahbubnagar was established in 2000.

It is affiliated to Osmania University and is a recognized institute of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The college is also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for teaching undergraduate level course Bachelor of Education. Gayathri College of Education is a self-financed and co-educational college.

The mode of imparting the course is English. The college is providing modern facilties to its students.

Applicants who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Andhra Ed CET.

Counseling is conducted for the short-listed candidates, which determines the final selection of the applicants.
