Galsi Rabindra Nazrul College of Education was established in 2006. With the objective of Spreading job- oriented and need-based education in this part of developing district of Purulia.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
