MVP's G.M.D. Arts, B.W. Commerce and Science College, Sinnar (Dist. Nashik) was populary known as G.M.D. Arts, B.W. Commerce and Science College, Sinnar was established in June 1969 and managed by Maratha Vidhya Prasharak (MVP Samaj), which was established in 1913.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
 
It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.82 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 30th November 2011.

The aim of the college is inculcating gender equality, social awareness, scientific temperament, cleanliness, awareness about environmental issues.
