G. D. College of Education, Fatehabad is also known as Guru Dronacharya College of Education. It was established in 2005.

The college is management of Lala Kundhan Lal Memorial Educational Society.

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Guru Dronacharya College of Education imparts undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in teacher’s training - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), Diploma in Education (D. Ed) and Master of Education (M. Ed).

The diploma programme of the college is recognized by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana Education Department. Guru Dronacharya College of Education has state-of-the-art facilities for the overall development of its students.
