G.B. Pant Polytechnic College (GBPPC), New Delhi was established in 1961.

The college is affiliated to the University of Delhi and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

• Directorate of Training and Technical Education is entrusted with the responsibility of providing trained technical manpower for the technological upgradation of industrial production, services, productivity and innovation.
