Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Agra is a part of Agra College, which has been functioning since 1823.

• Agra College is noted as the oldest college in North India, offering quality technical education in a number of disciplines.
• The college functioned as a Government run institution until 1883, when its managerial duties were transferred to a Board of Trustees and a Government Mandated Committee, both approved by the Government of India.
• The college has been recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
