Erode Sengunthar Engineering College (ESEC), Erode was established in 1996.
It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college is accredited by NBA and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified Institute.
The Erode Sengunthar Educational Trust started this college in the year 1996 for the upliftment of urban and rural youth. The trust has been associated with various educational Institutions like Higher Secondary Schools, Matric Higher Secondary School etc. The Engineering College has been functioning at Perundurai, Erode District, Tamilnadu, India. Erode Sengunthar Engineering College is an Autonomous Institution and accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade. Institute of Engineers (India) and eligible UG Programmes are accredited by national Board of Accreditation (NBA), approved by AICTE and Permanently affiliated to Anna University.
