Enathi Rajappa Arts and Science College (ERASC), Pattukkottai was established in 1999. The college is affiliated to Bharathidasan University and is accredited by NAAC. 

Enathi Rajappa Arts and Science college is affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli. This is a self financing college approved by the Government of Tamilnadu vide G.O.No. 142 dated :07-04-1999. To promote the vision of the founder in the young minds of our students, the college has been rightly named as ENATHI RAJAPPAA ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE. The college offers 12 UG, 4 PG and 1 M.Phil., Programmes in the view and emerging disciplines such as Computer Science, Biochemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Business administration , Commerce, Tamil and English Literature. To narrow down the gap between school education and college education, Bridge course is conducted to the freshers admitted in UG Programmes besides special coaching in mathematics for Non-mathematics students thanks to the efforts of the facilities of various departments.

The Institution with sprawling 15 acres of scenic campus is located on the Pattukkottai - Gandharvakkottai Highway , at a distance of 3 Km from the town . The college is a rural retreat with well designed building having well ventilated class rooms covering the area 63,000 Sq.ft. A very spacious library, well equipped departments and play ground are available . The department of biochemistry houses its lab in 1320 sq.ft spacious hall with modern equipments C-24 centrifuge, Spectronic 20 and Gel documentation. The department trains its students in microbiological, immunological and electrophoretic techniques. A well equipped computer science laboratory is available with centralized air condition facility, 2 xeon server, 100 HCL P IV , 50 HP Dual core systems, highly enhanced structure cabling, internet facility and licensed software that imparts practical training to its under graduate and post graduate students.

The aim of the college is to educate the student community to fit in with the society and to conquer the tomorrow’s technology at global level with human values through a dedicated team.

This college celebrated its Decennium in the year 2009.
