Ehiapur B.Ed College, Burdwan was established in 2008.

To offer quality education to the aspiring teachers of the region. Located in Burdwan (West Bengal), the college of teacher education offers one-year undergraduate B.Ed course.

The College is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

This University was started in 1960 with Sukumar Sen as its first Vice-chancellor. It occupies an exalted place amongst the universities of West Bengal.

It has been awarded with 4 star status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to acknowledge the contribution of Burdwan University in the educational development of the state.

The jurisdiction of the university spreads across five districts of West Bengal - Burdwan, Hooghly (excluding Serampore Subdivision), Bankura, Birbhum and Purulia, nourishing more than 100 colleges.
