Edayathangudy G.S. Pillay College of Pharmacy (EGSPCP), Nagapattinam was establsiehd in 2001.

The college is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai. The college is approved by the All India Council Of Technical Education (AICTE).

The college is managed and run by E G S Pillay & Sons Educational & Charitable Trust.

Edayathangudy G.S. Pillay College of Pharmacy is also approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. It offers undergraduate course in the field of pharmacy - Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma), a four-year full time programme.
