Duliajan College, Duliajan was established on 1st August, 1969 with just 100 students to cater to the long felt needs of locality of imparting quality education in the eastern most region of India.

The college has blossomed to become the foremost institution of higher education in this part of the country enrolling and educating thousands of students annually in Arts , Science and Commerce streams.

The college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh & recognized by the University Grants Commission under section 2(f) & 12(B) Act, 1956. It it accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade.

The college offers two years Higher Secondary Courses in Arts, Science & Commerce stream under Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council (AHSEC), Guwahati and three years Degree Courses in Arts, Science & Commerce stream under Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh and also offers some Career Oriented Courses / Add On Course.  Besides this, the College is running a Study Centre of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOPU), Guwahati.
