Its a self financing Professional College of Physical Education. Dr.B.Sivanthi Adityan a multifaceted personality, is the Chairman of the Aditanar Educational Institution and Founder President of the College. A two year Master of Physical Education Degree (M.P.Ed) course was introduced in 1993, one year Master of Philosophy(M. Phil) was started in 2001 and one year Bachelor of Physical Education degree (B.P.Ed) in 2003 with affiliation to Tamilnadu Physcial Education and Sports University, Chennai, Tamilnadu.
