Dr.S.S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (UICTE), Chandigarh established in 1958, was earlier known as Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology, DCET in collaboration with I.I.T, Chicago in the present building of the university campus.
