Dr.S.R.J. College of Education was approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi and was first affiliated to the Bharatidasan University, Tiruchirapalli for the first two years and after formation of TamilNadu Teachers Education University during 2008.
Dr. S.R.J College of Education has come under the Purview of the present Tamilnadu Teachers Education University from 2008-09 onwards.
