Dr. Rizvi College of Engineering, Karari was established in 1950. It is managed by  Dr. Akhtar Rizvi Educational Trust, which is  is a public charitable trust.

• The main objective of the Trust has always been promoting education at all levels.
• The college was establisghed with the objective of encouraging literate, arts, medicine, science, agricultural, agricultural technology, technical education and legal education (Law College) in all branches.
• The aim of the college is to undertake programme of rural development including any for promoting their social and economical welfare of, or the uplift of the public in any rural area.
