Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College was established in the year 1973 by the “ Society for Collegiate Education “ located in the heart of Visakhapatnam city in a sprawling 10 acre campus by socially conscious eminent and philanthropic persons from different walks of life like Education, Indian Administrative Service and Business with a service motive and named the college in honour of Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya , who was the then Vice Chancellor of Andhra University . The college is affiliated to Andhra University and accredited by NAAC with ‘ A’ grade . MBA, MCA and Engineering courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college is offering a wide range of programs from Intermediate (plus 2 level ) to Post Graduation and Research.

The college has excellent infrastructure and state of the art equipment in Laboratories. Other facilities like Seminar halls, Libraries, Playfields, Bank / ATM etc are also available.

The college emphasizes on and encourages Sports , NCC, NSS to a great extent. We have a large pool of talented sports men / women who brought laurels to the college. Talent in Sports students is recognized and offered scholarships. The college offers on the campus NCC training in all the three wings. Army, Navy and Air Force. We also have an NSS unit on the campus that inculcate in students the sense of service.

The Skill Development Center is engaged in training the students in social and employable skills, that give a competitive edge to our students and are necessary for Placements and other competitive exams. The college offer placement services to our students. Every year more than 20 companies visit the campus for placement drives and nearly 250 of our out - going eligible students secure employment.
