Established in 2005 in the memory of Dr. H.R. Gajwani an eminent Eye-Surgeon and a Visionary of the town, Dr. H.R. Gajwani College of Education, Kutch is located in Adipur, the eastern region of Kutch.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be the milestone in the part of progress.

Dr. H.R. Gajwani College of Education is governed by Shree Kutch District Samaj Kalyan Mandal (KDSKM), Gandhidham which was established on June 1, 1963, for the welfare and upliftment of women and children of Kutch district.

The college is affiliated to Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University, Bhuj and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

It was accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.80 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on July 8, 2013.

Since its inception the college has been running successfully, rendering quality services to the cause of improvement of education. The college emphasizes the quality in education at all levels, which cannot be attained without quality teachers.

The institute offers two years of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course for those who have completed their graduation from a recognised university with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
