Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering (DACOE), Karad was established in 2008 managed under G. K. Gujar Memorial Charitable Trust.

The institute has been approved by AICTE New Delhi and DTE Mumbai and has been affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
